MSHA PART 46 & 48
PART 46. This training is designed for employees who work in Surfaces Mines. According to MSHA regulations, all employees working in this industry must complete a minimum of 24 hours of training if they have no prior mining industry experience or a minimum of 8 hours of training for employees with prior mining experience.
This training covers all the regulations, duties and responsibilities of employees who work in the mining industry, upon completion of the course the employee will receive a certificate describing the courses required by MSHA in the official form 5000-23. This certificate has a duration of 12 months and one day, in accordance with the specifications of the law.
Part 48. This training is designed for employees who work in Underground Mines. According to MSHA regulations, all employees working in this industry must complete a minimum of 24 hours of training if they have no prior mining industry experience or a minimum of 8 hours of training for employees with prior mining experience.
